In this project, the objective was to analyze a brand to identify the target to which it is focused, and what kind of problems, limitations or difficulties faced the public.
Our group chose Magic: The Gathering, one of the best-known RPGs. After analyzing the brand and investigating its audience, mechanics and advertising and distribution methods, we discovered that Magic was mostly aimed at an audience already immersed or introduced to the world of role-playing games. Therefore, we decided that it would be a good idea for the brand to expand horizons and open up the possibility of hosting not only veteran players or native role-playing players, but also occasional, curious and new entrants.
